Unveiled at #Davos during the World Economic Forum 2023, the Universal Digital Payments Network (UDPN) is a Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) supported network that aims to enhance digital payments by enabling interoperability among regulated #stablecoins and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs).

This initiative holds the potential to bring significant changes to the digital currency landscape. During the launch event, representatives from Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, The Bank of East Asia, Limited (BEA), and Akbank shared valuable insights into the world of digital currency.

They emphasized the importance of interoperability and highlighted the need for robust infrastructure to support these advancements. The Universal Digital Payments Network (UDPN) has the potential to reduce the cost of digital payments and drive its adoption by banks and businesses of all sizes.
