Session Schedule in the Hyperledger Booth
Title: Track and Trace in Single Windows solutions
Speaker: Tim Janssen, EBPI
Description: Single Windows solutions are common place in the logistics industry. While this works within a country, facilitating trust and handover between borders is the new challenge. With approximately 10% of containers being able to be physically checked, a new solution is necessary. Hypertrace provides customs agencies and logistic parties the ability to verify the authenticity, origin of the goods itself and handover in a trusted and transparent way. With such a solution, the amount of containers to be inspected drops significantly, because of the immutable aspects of the blockchain as well as the distributed ledger between parties.
Ralph will show:
– Handshakes (multi-signature on Hyperledger) for material from the beginning to the end of the supply chain; Manufacturers to transport to customs to retailer
– Insight in the complete logistics chain using Hyperleger Explorer.
