Demos in Hyperledger Booth (1E27)

Join us in the Hyperledger Booth 1E27 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for member demos of PoCs and pilots built with Hyperledger technologies! See Hyperledger-powered applications built by member companies to address market requirements across industries.

Schedule at a Glance

Tuesday, Nov. 14 | 12:30pm–6:30pm

12:30 – 12:50: Soramitsu Co., Ltd. – Mobile Payments with Hyperledger Iroha presented by Nikolai Lushkevich, Project Manager, Soramitsu Co. LLC

Using Hyperledger Iroha, Soramitsu has native applications in iOS, Android, and web that can be used to make digital payments using QR codes between devices. The balances of money are managed using Hyperledger Iroha and transactions are updated very quickly, allowing people to make payments within a few seconds.

1:00 – 1:20: Amihan – Amihan Nimble Loyalty presented by Unyx Sta. Ana – Vice President, Product Development.

Nimble Loyalty is a loyalty marketplace platform which uses Blockchain Technology to secure transactions between a network of participants without the need for intermediaries, enabling exchanges of multiple loyalty point currencies that are part of a coalition program on a single platform. Customers benefit from a loyalty marketplace through the wider range of rewards across different partners. This gives more opportunities for customers to earn more and redeem frequently.

1:30-1:50: Broadridge – Bilateral Repo Processing Solution using Hyperledger fabric V1.0 presented by Kishore Seshagiri, Executive Vice President, Broadridge.

Broadridge recently completed a pilot with Natixis and Societe Generale that utilizes distributed ledger technology capabilities to reduce operational risk for market participants by providing a secure record of repo trade details, reducing the need for reconciliation and removing obstacles to straight through processing. This new blockchain-enabled solution, which automates end-to-end processes, streamlines the repo agreement and confirmation processes, offers a faster and more accurate collateral substitution process, while eliminating time consuming manual interventions, and reduces counterparty risk while increasing auditability. In this session, Broadridge is pleased to demonstrate the successful application of this pilot to audiences at the Singapore Fintech Festival. The pilot was built on Hyperledger Fabric V1.0

2:00 – 2:20: Bitmark – Digital Property on Hyperledger/Bitmark Hybrid Chain presented by Sean Moss-Pultz, CEO & Founder.

Bitmark has developed its own private blockchain for the digital property, and Hyperledger Fabric has provided a comprehensive distributed ledger technology for the enterprise. In this demo, Bitmark will show its new blockchain technology towards the digital property system on a Hyperledger and Bitmark hybrid blockchain model.

2:30-2:50: IBM Smart Contracts with Hyperledger Composer presented by Alan Lim, IBM Blockchain

Innovation in financial sector is coming from various players and they are plugging in to the existing processes, wherever they can find the gaps. This increases the necessity in externalising the internal business processes to seamlessly and securely integrate with new ecosystems, providing services for: Bank Guarantees, Supply Chain financing, etc. In this demo we will show how to externalise a generic information sharing/approval process using the tools developed by Hyperledger Community: we will see how we can create a secure smart contract, deploy it to blockchain and expose as a set of REST APIs, so that it will be easy to integrate with traditional internal applications.

3:30 – 3:50: Soramitsu Co., Ltd. – Mobile Payments with Hyperledger Iroha presented by Nikolai Lushkevich, Project Manager, Soramitsu Co. LLC

4:30 – 4:50: DLT Labs – GDPR Compliance Through Blockchain presented by Neeraj Srivastava, CTO

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation by which the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union and the European Commission intend to strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals within the European Union. We have designed a plug and play solution for Enterprise clients on Hyperledger Fabric to comply this regulation.

5:00 – 5:20: R3Hyperledger Indy identity on Corda presented by Joanne Ng.

R3 will demonstrate our partnership and joint engineering work to bring the Hyperledger Indy technology to the Corda platform. This is a unique collaboration between two Hyperledger members to drive the Hyperledger goal of reuse of common building blocks.

5:30 – 5:50: norbloc AB – Fides KYC platform presented by Astyanax Kanakakis, CEO.

norbloc’s KYC platform allows banks to remove duplication of efforts between them and monetize on their KYC efforts by leveraging blockchain technology. That is achieved by allowing the banks’ customers to carry validated KYC files between regulated institutions. In work performed with financial institutions in Sweden, savings were estimated at ~50% of the current cost base. The platform employs Hyperledger Fabric 1.0 as its blockchain protocol.

Edward will discuss how Blockchain affects Cross-Border Payments.

Wednesday, Nov. 15 | 1:30pm – 6:00pm

Moscow Exchange Tokenization in Hyperledger Fabric presented by Alex Yakovlev, Head of decentralized solutions direction.

Tokenization of digital assets under chaincode of Fabric with example of usage in e-proxy voting solution. Additional feature is advanced confidentiality, allowing to keep bank secrecy during validation of transactions by nodes.

HACERA – How HACERA built a full-stack, blockchain-agnostic solution with no “vendor lock-in” using Hyperledger presented by Jonathan Levi, CEO of HACERA & Hyperledger TSC member.

More details coming soon.

3:00 – 3:20: Yunphant – Blockchain Practice of Yunphant Corporation in Asia by Zhenguang Liu.

The basic problem behind financial transactions is how to build trust. Current global financial systems rely on the third intermediary to build trust. $20 billion is paid to these third intermediaries per year. Trust is expensive and everyone pays. Yunphant Coorporation concentrates on blockchain technology in finance. We have built up many real in-use systems on Hyperledger blockchain for many famous companies including the Chinese National Trust & Clearing Corporation, Industrial Bank of China, Mingsheng Bank, Zhejiang financial assets exchange, Hundsun Technologies and etc. I would like to share our blockchain practice in Asia. We classify the applications of our blockchain solutions into four categories: proof of existence, financial transaction, credit letter and data management. I will introduce our experience and understanding obtained from our blockchain practice, and show the profound impact of blockchain far beyond reducing the cost of building trust!
