Weekend Update: This Week’s Round-up of Remote Blockchain Learning Resources

Welcome to the Weekend Update. Our goal with this weekly post is to share quick updates about online education, networking and collaboration opportunities and resources for the open source enterprise blockchain community.

European Blockchain Convention

The European Blockchain Convention is the meeting point of the blockchain industry in Europe. The four-day online event, taking place from December 13-16, will be filled with inspiring keynotes, panel discussions, workshops, one-to-one meetings and high-level networking. There will be more than 10 speakers from the Hyperledger community. Talks will include “Adoption of Stablecoins and Digital Euro” with Hyperledger’s Karen Ottoni (December 13 at 3:15 PM CET), “Overview of the Current DLT Landscape” with DLT’s Csilla Zsigri (December 14 at 4:00 PM CET), and “Blockchain to Support Sustainable Supply Chains” with Hyperledger’s Daniela Barbosa and BTP’s Duncan Johnston-Watt.

Open Source Summit Japan   

Open Source Summit Japan is the leading conference in Japan connecting the open source ecosystem under one roof, providing a forum for technologists and open source industry leaders to collaborate and share information, learn about the latest in open source technologies and find out how to gain a competitive advantage by using innovative open solutions. This year’s event will be a virtual experience, taking place from December 14-15 in Japan Standard Time. Sessions include the December 14 talk “Trust Data Sharing and Utilization Infrastructure for Sensitive Data Using Hyperledger” by Koshi Ikegawa of Hitachi, Ltd. as well as the December 15 panel on “What’s Next for Enterprise Blockchain” by the Linux Foundation’s Daniela Barbosa, Futjisu’s Shingo Fujimoto and IBM’s Arnaud Le Hors.
