Hyperledger Climate Action & Accounting Special Interest Group Guest Presentation: Greenhouse gas reporting and moving cloud energy to renewable sources

Join the Climate Action & Accounting SIG meeting for a guest presentation on “GHG reporting across supply chains and moving cloud energy use to renewable sources.” Carrie George, VP & Head of Sustainability & Impact, from Everledger will discuss Everledger’s climate-related work, including an internal program aimed at improving practices across all Everledger offices and product impact across all the industries in which Everledger operates. Discussion will include how the Hyperledger community can support interoperability across blockchains on GHG reporting and mitigation and drive consistent improvements in cloud energy reporting and transition to renewable and ultimately carbon free cloud energy across the world.

Hyperledger In-depth: An hour with Quant Network

Over the years, there have been many attempts to solve the problem of interoperability. Of the various approaches taken, the World Economic Forum (WEF) identified three main categories: Cross Authentication (DLT-relayers), Oracles and the API Gateway. Which, of course, begs the obvious question: how do these categories compare and which is more suited for enterprise deployments? Join Luke Riley, Head of Innovation for Quant Network, for an in-depth presentation and discussion on “categorization and comparison of the DLT interoperability solutions.”

Tune on Wednesday, May 19, at 11:00 AM PDT. For more information and to register, go here.
